above mantle
Show me your mantles that you love. We are not replacing ours, but want ideas for that small wall, and how to decorate above. Right now I have 5 smallish pic frames, candles and an 11x17 above- NOT loving it!

this is not our "dream" mantle but this was here when we moved in so we've worked with it. it is in our den, our family room so we have our family collage in this room.
i kept the same line, the same height and hung frames at that level around the room... moves your eye well around the room
