Breast Bump....

Anybody have the ISIS iQ DUO™ Twin Electronic Breast Pump or single one? They are pretty expensive. I had the regular Avent Isis pump, but after the new baby is born, I dont want to have to manually pump the whole time. Is it worth the $$? Thanks for your opinions in advance!

Re: Breast Bump....

I don't but just thought I would give my input. I have the pump in style advanced. I have never tried a manual pump but I am very happy with what I have. It was expensive though.

Re: Breast Bump....

I didn't like the Isis IQ Duo pump. I eventually rented the Medela Symphony and liked that one. I didn't like having to set the pace and suction of the Isis manually and the "petal soft" insert tore the skin off my breast. If I were to purchase again I would choose the Medela pump in style.

Re: Breast Bump....

Honestly, I would never buy a pump after renting a hospital grade one. If you plan on pumping a lot, it's worth it.

We have the Medela Pump In Style and are happy with it. I really only used it the 1st few weeks to make sure I had enough milk...

I have been renting a Medela Symphony for the last 7 months and I think its great. Its huge, don't get me wrong, you can't take it out with you for the day, but for a hospital grade pump, its fantastic. Personally, I wouldn't buy an expensive pump, renting works out better for me...but it might not work out so good in the states as it does here in the UK. I pay £35 a month for my pump (which is like $50 ish, I think on LI you pay $70 a month....)

Re: Breast Bump....

Actually, I pay 45 a month for my pump, if anyone wants the info from where I rented it, let me know.
