How often do you wash your duvet? Is it down or synthetic?

What about the duvet cover?

Mattress pad?

I wash the duvet cover every time or every other time I do the sheets

I wash my duvet cover every week. We have a down alternative comforter that I wash maybe once every 3 months

Duvet cover-every week
Sheets-every week
Duvet filler/comforter-every 2-3 weeks

Entire sheet set and duvet along with waffle weave blanket- weekly

Down comforter- washed at the laundry mat every 3-4 months.

We used to have it drycleaned, but the owner saiid it was a waste. She just throws it in the largest washer and dryer adn throws some tennis balls in with it. She told me to just do that so that's what we do. Instead of paying $75 now we do it ourself and pay $15. We live 3 blocks away so we're close and on that day we just bring all our rugs and curtains to wash as well.
