If you started out on Clomid and TI
these past few months i have been taking different dosages of clomid (started at 100mg, bumped down to 50) along with a HCG trigger shot and timed intercourse. I have not been successful yet and it looks like this month is a wash as well because my temps have been dropping the past few days, so I know its only a matter of time till AF shows... at what point did your RE start to discuss other options, like IUI with you?

Re: If you started out on Clomid and TI
My RE said to us this month that IUI would be a good option since it does increase the chances of conception...we have used clomid with TI 2 months prior with no success...he left the decision up to us since we had no issues sperm issues and my uterus & fallopian tubes were clear...we are leaning towards IUI. he also bumped up my dosage to 100 mg.

Re: If you started out on Clomid and TI
I did 2 unmonitored cycles of Clomid with TI, under my OBGYN care. I then saw an RE before starting the 3rd and he suggested IUI right away, given that we had been trying for well over a year and a half. He changed my meds to Femara, then Femara, Gonal w/ IUI.

Re: If you started out on Clomid and TI
DD was conceived on round 1 of Clomid and TI. This time round it didn't work, so go figure. I think it's lulck of the draw to be honest! This time around it took 9 months of various treatments, finally ending in gonal-f shots and TI.

Re: If you started out on Clomid and TI
i think it depends on the situation....for me i have endo and did 3 cycles of clomid with TI with my OB/GYN prior to going to my RE. When i went to the RE he suggested IUI or IVF right away.
i think you should bring it up with your RE, if you feel that you're ready to move on to IUI then why wait?! good luck!
