Did you price out all of your options? I know blacktop is the cheapest, but how much more was regular concrete, or pavers? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, we priced out all of our options and went down the middle. We have blacktop with a paver boarder and it looks really nice

In my area you only see blacktop or pavers.
We just redid our driveway in blacktop with a paver boarder also and I love it. Last year we did paver steps and walk way and it really ties everything together. I love how clean it looks and it doesn't crack like concrete.

We did pavers, the most expensive, but they also last the longest. You can replace one brick if there is a stain or one breaks. I am not a fan of how blacktop looks and concrete always seems to crack no matter what.

We did not. We knew we wanted blacktop with paver trim.
Everyone I knwo with concrete complains it eventually cracks... I personally just dont lke the look of all paver driveways
Ours is blacktop with a paver apron and pavers trim all around the outside.

Re: people who have redone driveway
We're in the process of re-doing ours right now. We have a VERY small drive way (13' x 20'). We knew we didn't want asphalt or pavers -- we both like the sound of crushed stones or river rocks.
We did 8" of RCA base and will order1-2" (3 yards) of river rocks/stone from a mason supply place in Bohemia. Our border is only some railroad tie looking wood, but it matches what our neighbors have.
