Mussels marinara?
Is mussels marinara ok to have for dinner tonight? I assume the mussels will be cooked (from a restaurant). I did a search on here and I didnt see Mussels specifically on the list of high mercury fish, and preganancy.org says no raw shellfish (well duh).
What do you think?

i've had them a few times since pregnant...
my OB said as long as it's cooked and it's not on the list of the VERY FEW fish that you can't have at all, it's fine in moderation...

agreed. I've had mussels a few times as well as cooked clams in chowders etc. mmm i could go for some fried clams right about now

I had it a number of times this summer! Shellfish is fine in moderation!
