Carpeting store reco

I need to replace my upstairs carpeting. Haven't done carpeting in many years. Any recommendations in Suffolk with good prices?

Re: Carpeting store reco

I've used Loria 112 Carpets on 112 between Sunrise and the LIE. The carpet we put in the bedroom 3 years ago still looks great. We just picked out some carpet that we're having bound into an area rug and runner. Good service and helpful without pressure. They have a lot of wood flooring options too if anyone is looking for that - I was drooling over a few of the displays.

"Abbey Classic Carpet" in Lake Grove on Rt. 25/Middle Country Road. (in the Burlington Coat Factory and Harrows shopping center)

They installed within a week and also have great prices and a ton of carpet remnants.

Friends of ours also used them and no complaints either.
Good luck!

Here's a link to their website

We used Empire and I found their quality and prices to be great. I was also happy with the fact that they can install very quickly.

Re: Carpeting store reco

My dad was in the carpet and oriental rug business for 25+ years. He is retired now but he knows everyone in the business & he stays active doing appraisals and sometimes buying & selling oriental rugs at auction. He really only trusts G.Fried. They're doing my office this week. My landlord used to get carpet through my dad anyway so it all worked out well. I'm getting a top of the line commercial carpet b/c Wendy Fried convinced my dad that I need the best! (He worked with her when I was a kid & I used to visit). I am so excited over carpet at the moment. Now I just need a new rug in my living room but the is one I wanted was discontinued when I waited too long to order it.
