Gonal F or Follistism?
Another question thrown at me:
I was asked which I prefer in my cycle? I have read they are the same but that because I have never used Follistim maybe it will have a better effect. Anyone know the difference between Gonal -F and Follistim ... anyone had experience with the two?

Re: Gonal F or Follistism?
virtually no difference. i always did follistim. one cycle i tried gonal and i didn't do well. i thought it was due to gonal over follistim. i later discovered that i am just a slow responder immediately after BCP suppression, no matter what meds. so in the end it probably wasnt the gonal, it was more likely the suppression prior to the low dose of gonal that i was on. IMO they both are virtually the same with different brand names.

How about menopaur? does the number of amps vials affect the quality / quantity of eggs/follicles? Do you also think being off the BCP before you start a cycle affect the number of follicles? How about throwihng clomid into the cycle?
