Choosing OB and Hospital

I need your help. If all goes well, I will need to choose an OB soon. I am high risk and my high risk doc. has good relationship with Dr. Pilitteri. He doesn't know my own gyno.

I have used a doctor for years for checkups etc. He delivers in St. Charles/Stony Brook. He hasn't treated me for IF. I see him for 10 minutes each year so it's not a real close relationship.

I used Dr. Pilliteri for a D&C for mc in 2010. His office is very busy and I am not too sure about our compatability.He delivers in Good Sam.

Can you give me your input on experiences in either hospital for delivery? Pros/cons.

How did you go about choosing your OB? Questions asked?

I delivered @ St.Charles and Good Sam. I went to Drs that my insurance covered and used the Hospital they were affiliated with.
Love Love St. Charles nurses are WONDERFUL and the breakfast buffet was great (LOL). When I lived in Bay Shore I used Good Sam (10yrs ago) and dont remember much but it was not bad. I was not high risk and had normal pregnancies/deliveries.
