Glucose test on a Sat?
I need to have the glucose test taken this week or next. I tried to make an online appointment for Sat but it keeps saying the day is unavailable. Were any of you able to take the test on a Sat? If so, where did you go? I really don't want to take a sick day for this. Thanks.

I do all my lab work on Sat including glucose test. I go to Sunrise medical lab in Selden. They open at 7am and there is never more than a 5 minute wait. No appts needed either which I love.

I didn't take the glucose test on a saturday, but I have gone for other bloodwork on saturday mornings. it's good to make an appointment, but not always necessary. you should just try to show up saturday morning.

My glucose test is scheduled for next sunday. It is done in my OB's office.

I am going to Sunrise Medical Labs, they told me that they do the glucose test on Saturdays and you do not need to make an appointment, just try to get there as early as possible.

I did mine with Lab Corp at 7 am and made it to work on time.

Thank you ladies! Quest told me they don't have Sat appointments for the glucose test and lab corp isn't open on Sat. I called Sunrise and I am going there tomorrow. The only problem is out of the three labs, sunrise is the only one that doesn't accept my insurance. I guess I will just have to pay out of pocket. At least I can get it done tomorrow though. For those of you who went to quest was it on a Sat and if it was, which lab? Thanks!

I'm in the same exact boat as you!!! I called everywhere in a 30 mile radius. I am going to Enzo labs tomorrow morning. No appointment needed and they accept my insurance.Maybe we'll see eachother!

I'm not LI so I may be of now help. When you go to their website, and put the date you want, all their Saturday locations should pop up.
