everyday dishes
My MIL needs new everyday dishes desperately and I am having a hard time picking them out! Looking for something with a beige background and sort of on the country side. flowers are good, but nothing too busy. Their kitchen is beige, some green accents. Anyone have any recommendations?!
TIA! (or should i say show it all!)

Re: everyday dishes
My Mom uses Lenox Butterfly Meadow as her everyday dishes. It is a really pretty set and she loves it.
You can get pieces discounted at Macys and TJMaxx too.

Re: everyday dishes
Definitely look at the Corelle website! They have so many different patterns and colors. Our everyday plates are Corelle and I love them!

Re: everyday dishes
I agree with Pfaltzgraff, and check out Target. They have some really cute dishes! I secretly wish sometimes that all of mine would break so that I could go there and pick out new ones.

Re: everyday dishes
i have Pfaltzgraff....i love them, but the dinner plates are HUGE!! they just fit into my cabinets (granted, my cabinets are narrow). but i also have a cousin who cant put them in the dishwasher bc they are too big.
i love that they come with so many matching pieces too!!

Re: everyday dishes
Lenox has a new line out. I'm not sure what it is called but looks very similar to Juliska but a fraction of the price!

Re: everyday dishes
Anyone have any problems with their Pfaltzgraff stuff chipping? I would like a material like corelle but I am really not a fan of their patterns. I like the patterns on the Pfaltzgraff stuff better but I have a similar material set now and we have a problem with chipping even though I have never put them in the oven. I am not sure why they keep chipping. They need to be replaced soon but I am not sure what to go with.

Re: everyday dishes
My MIL has a problem with her Pfaltzgraff plates chipping - I think they put it away too hard or overstuff their dishwasher. So they clang into each other and chip.
We've had our set for 3 years and no issues. I'm not overly careful but I do try to mind them hitting each other.
