Am I the only one Unimpressed by what is in the stores lately?
Why do so many stores still have tons of short sleeve/clearance items still? Also, is it IMPOSSIBLE to find a shirt or sweater that isnt super bulky or requires 3 purchases to make it layer into an actual shirt/outfit.
Also,
I went to the loft today and is it just me or did the quality of their sweaters go wayyyy down. They are having a huge sale yet everything I tried on hung oddly or looked like it had been washed w/o little pulls etc..
Maybe Im having a bad shopping week! LOL

I used to love the Loft! But I haven't been happy with them for the last 3 years. The quality has gone wayyyy down, while the prices haven't!

I'm loving a lot of stuff that's in BR lately. Plus they always have 25% or 30% coupons.

Agreed.
Quality is going downhill, prices are going up.
How does that make any sense?

I agree. I thought it was just me! I refuse to step into most department stores now, I bought a pair of shoes at JCPenney for work - my usual size, and the heel is already bent, and it feels too big.I have to go return them now.
90% of my closet is now LL Bean clothing, its the only company that seems to get things right.

I rediscovered The Limited and was really happy with their fall stuff!
LOFT doesn't do it for me anymore, but I did great at the Ann Taylor outlet in Deer Park over the weekend.

I was just thinking the same thing!!! Most of the shirts that are in the stores are those big, baggy shirts that make me look huge. The when I find a store that has clothes I actually like, they run their sizes so big nothing even fits me. I can't seem to find any cute sweaters either.
