Anyone know if this specific area in smithtown
It is north of 347 and west of brookside drive?
Hauppauge SD.

I know OF the area, but nothing in particular. I do however know that Hauppauge SD is very good!

Houses are very nice in that area. IMO all of Smithtown is very nice. In that particular area; depending on how for West of Brooksite, some houses line the golf course and Blydenburgh Park...also beautiful. Also, houses off of Old Willets Path are very nice too.
At the time DH and I were looking we would've loved to live in Smithtown, but the prices were too high. We ended up in Lake Grove which we thought was just as nice  HTH!

I think you are talking about the Smithtown Pines - north of 347 and south of Jericho. Town of smithtown and Hauppauge school district.
This is where I am - love it here - if you have any questions, feel free to FM! Close to shopping and to the parkways - although you would never know it being in the neighborhood!
The area is desirable due to the lower taxes. They are much lower than other parts of Smithtown.

DH grew up in Smithtown Pines area and went to Hauppauge HS. I think its a great area and he said the HS was good!

West of brook site is hauppauge and I pretty sure east of brook site is smith town. Forest brook elementary school is hauppauge. (why does my iPad think hauppauge should be "hay pugs"  )

My coworker bought in this area after targeting it specifically and waiting a long time for a house to come up that fit their criteria - and he has been very happy ever since he moved!

I grew up on the border of blydenburgh park and Stonebridge CC; also went to Hauppauge. It really is a nice area. The Pines is a little more West then Brooksite (near Old Willets Path) and that is also very nice. Taxes are a lot sometimes; my dad pays close to $13k a year.

DH grew up on the east side of Old Willets path and went to Hauppauge SD. His parents' backyard backs the 4th precinct and they have horses in their backyard 
It is a great area for raising children and taxes are low!

We have family in that area. It's very nice there, and Hauppauge is a good district.
