WEEKLY MENUS - 10/8/11
Sat - Jeannie's marinated london broil with baked potatoes (with sour cream & chives)
Sun - Ina Garten's engagement chicken over white rice
Mon - SkinnyTaste's ground turkey with potatoes and peas over egg noodles
Tues - "SoCal" salad with leftover sliced chicken
Wed - Homemade shake n' bake with my MIL's recipe for macaroni salad and mixed greens
Thurs - Baked manicotti with sausage and peas
Fri - Apricot-glazed chicken thighs with brown rice and sliced cucumber

Sunday: MIL's
Monday: Pasta with chick peas & red sauce, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday: Turkery Tacos
Wednesday: Chicken breast with herb au jus, Israeli Cous Cous, Roasted Broccoli
Thursday: French toast, Citrus Salad, Apple chicken sausage
Friday: Campfire Cooking Night! Beanie Weenies, campfire potatoes, fish packets with lemon herbs and squash, Roasted Marshmallows
Saturday.. no clue..

OK redoing:
Sat.- Out for Mexican! Yum!
Sun.- leftovers
Mon.- flatbread with goat cheese, roasted peppers and balsamic reduction
Tues.- Rigatoni with brocolli, garlic, evoo and romano cheese
Wed.- dinner with parents
Thurs.- ST braised chicken dish over noodles
Fri.- Out with friends

Monday: Curry leftovers
Tuesday: Short ribs leftovers

Sat: Went upstate to Warwick to go apple picking and ate burgers in town
Sun: Caramel Apple Pork Chops, Homemade Apple Sauce, Red Mash, $ Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream
Mon: Spaghetti with Meatsauce, salad and crusty bread
Tues: Leftovers
Wed: Spiral Sausage (2 kinds: Fennel and Tomato & Basil) over buttered egg noodles and parmesan
Thurs: Butternut Squash Risotto and Grilled Chicken (never made this last week)
Fri: Pizza/leftovers

Saturday - DH & I were camping with friends, so we had burgers, s'mores, and jiffy pop!
Sunday - Fish tacos with flounder, salsa, cheese, and shredded lettuce
Monday - Pork ribs baked in a honey barbecue sauce with corn on the cob
Tuesday - Bratwurst, sauerkraut and chopped potatoes baked in beer
Wednesday - French toast & turkey bacon (never got to do this last week)
Thursday - Take out
Friday - Park Place with a friend

Sat - Went to Hank's Pumpkin Town, had a late lunch in S. Hampton
Sun - Jeannie's Famous Vodka Sauce, w/ penne, Garlic Bread, salad with the last tomatoes from my garden :(
Warm Apple Pie with Vanilla ice cream for dessert!
Mon - Striped Bass (fish packets, with cherry tomatoes, zucchini & garlic) Long grain wild rice, sauteed spinach! THANKS Jeannie!!!
Tues - Skinny Taste Chicken Rollatini w/ Prosciutto & Cheese, salad
Wed - Apple Sage Pork Chops, roasted baby red potatoes, string beans

Friday: Wedding (and our 5th anniversary!)
Saturday: Maybe going to the diner

This sounds so good! Do you just grill the sausage?
Yes....either DH throws it on the BBQ or he'll steam it on the stove top and do a quick pan fry to brown it. It's so simple and delish

Sat: Oktoberfest: grilled wurst, wurst in beer and onions, sauerbraten, pork loin and wurst braised in beer and sauerkraut, braised red cabbage and apples, buttered egg noodles, mashed potatoes
Sun: NY strip steak, pommes frites, sauteed zucchini
Mon: homemade pizza (proscuitto and spinach)
Tues: arroz con chorizo, corn, avocado salad
Wed: pasta with meat sauce, braised greens
Thurs: chicken veggie soup, warmed ciabatta
Fri: OUT Opera to see the Barber of Seville!!!!!

Monday- Chicken Milanese with roasted veggies
Tuesday-Salmon in a lemon brodetta with pureed peas ( Giada recipe)
-i added white wine to the lemon brodetta! delicious!pureed peas were good although not worth the hastle of cleaning my food processor.i would leave them whole
Wednesday- Crockpot Santa fe chicken over brown rice from Skinny taste
Thursday- mini meatball subs ( i think) with the marinara sauce i made over the weekend
Friday- leftovers
Saturday- out
Sunday- Vegetable Lasagna - using up the rest of the marinara sauce i made
