Hi...
This is our first time back on the saddle since having DC... the journey to have DC was long and arduous (20mo of TTC) and when we found out about this pregnancy we were so excited but so scared that this won't stick like in the past. Surprisingly (and graciously) DH and I just found out that I'm pregnant and I have a question about Progesterone and HCG levels...
I had my first beta done on Monday and my numbers came back as 91 (I was 28d since LMP/14dpo)... When I called, the first nurse said my levels were "normal". When I went back to the OB for a follow up beta, the second nurse I spoke to said my levels were low...
Progesterone: 19 HCG: 91
Does anyone know if this is OK???

Re: Hi...
I think it is fine, as long as the numbers double.
Not to mention, I think 91 at 14 dpo isn't even on the low side.
I was 70 on 16 DPO and my doctor said that number was okay as long as it continued to double (and it did).
Good luck and Congratulations!
for doubling numbers!

Re: Hi...
I just experienced this my first beta was only 80. It really only matters if your number keeps doubling every 48 hrs. You should schedule another blood draw to make sure the numbers are doubling.

Re: Hi...
Thank you for getting back to me. I really appreciate it!
I'm supposed to go again on Tuesday to make sure they continue to double...

Re: Hi...
That number is a godo one..go to www.betabase.info and look at the average beta for 14DPO..it's 102 with many more hundred successful pregnancies in your range and below.
