level payment plans for electric

Are they worth it or do you get screwed in the end? My bill has been high lately because of my AC. I am just finishing out my first year in my apartment. In the winter my bill was 100-130 (2 bedroom and I barely turned on the heat). This July it was 250!!!!!!!! 175 in september. My bill says I can pay 117 for the level paying plan but that seems low and I am afraid I will end up getting hit hard at the end of the year. Has teh level plan worked out for you? Thanks

They adjust it as you go, if you are using more so that you not have huge bill at the end. They will notify you if they have to increase it
