How many cycles of clomid did you have?
I was wondering how many cycles of clomid everyone did...I have read that anything beyond 6 can affect the uterine lining...my RE said there is definite number but would do 6.

We chose not to use clomid and headed straight to injectibles even though I ovulated on my own and very regularly.

I did 4 rounds of clomid starting at 50 mg and going to 200 and all with iui. Our last attempt before moving onto IVF was 200 mg of clomid and an iui and that resulted in dd.
This time I did two rounds of clomid 100mg and than 200mg plus an iui and I am now 5 weeks pg.
So overall since 2009 I've done 6. My RE was going to let me do 2 more rounds this time had the iui not worked out.

For DS I did one cycle of Clomid with an ob, and with DD I did three cycles of Clomid with an ob.

7 while trying for DC 1
another 6 while trying for DC 2 before moving onto IVF
Fortunately my lining stayed ok.....but I have heard you should not exceed 12

I did 2 rounds over 2 cycles.
cycle 1 100mg, when that showed nothing 150 mg when that showed nothing, forced af
cycle 2, 200mg nothing, 250 mg nothing, switched to injectables then in same cycle switched to ivf

I did 2 with my OBGYN, unmonitored, a total waste. Then 2 with RE, then switched to Femara, then injectables.

I did 2 rounds of clomid with RE (50mg first time 100mg second time)...RE feels like I am not responding because I'm only developing 1 dominant follicle with the higher dose...He is suggesting we move on to injectables, but since its not covered on my plan and I'm a little iffy about it I'm not sure if we will just continue with clomid till 2012....

i have endo and i did 2 and they were fails.
i honestly think, looking back, that for endo, IVF is the way to go

I only did 3 clomid IUI cycles before moving onto injectibles. Started at 50, then 100, then 150mg. Very low response and all BFN.
