Travel Insurance for Europe?
I never know if travel insurance is really necessary.
Wondering if i should purchase it for my upcoming trip to Spain? the package i have through my airlines covers cancellation for ANY reason up until the day we leave for both the airfare AND the hotel. So the insurance would be for the actual time we're away. If we learn of political turmoil or anything going on when we leave then we could just cancel and get all our money back. But once we're there and something happens or our bag gets lost whatever then we're out of luck.
Don't know what to do?

Re: Travel Insurance for Europe?
Unless there is some huge unrest in Spain that I am missing I would not bother.
I wouldn't buy any extra trip interruption insurance unless there was some specific risk (i.e. the tropics in hurricane season.)
Have a great trip!

I never travel without travel insurance. How much would it cost you?

I usually travel with travel insurance, you just never know! I mean that volcano might erupt again...
As far as unrest in Spain- I think the main problem in Spain at the moment is their economy and the crashing of the Euro. But even that, it's not that bad...
