If you have Verizon Fios
are you happy with it?
Thinking of switching over from cablevision. Versizon is cheaper.

My parents had Cablevision for years and were VERY unhappy. Their internet never worked conistently, the tv went out all the time, and they were always being over-charged on their monthly bills.
They just switched to Verizon Fios. So far, they are happy with the television, but I'll be honest, the internet is slower than it was with Cablevision.

We have had it for about 3 years now and love it. Will never go back to CV even if they give me a great deal.
THe internet is faster and the channel guide is fast....never delays when changing channels or scrolling through the menu.

I LOVE FIOS.. it's the BEST EVER.. customer service does stink BUT they do compensate you SO that makes up for it!

Switched to FIos and never looked back! Only issue is it took a couple of weeks to get an installer to hook it up. Been great, we even had Internet through the hurricane.

I moved from Queens--so I had Time Warner. Its cheaper than TW and its way better. We have more channels for less money and more on demand, etc.
I would never get Cablevision. I despise the Dolan family and refuse to give them a penny.

I have it and love it! Guide and dvr are better. So many more on demand shows... I don't even have to dvr a lot of stuff bc the new episodes are up right away. I can't comment on customer service but I have never had a reason to call in 11 months. It was cheaper too.

LOVE Fios, we just switched a few months ago. More bang for our buck, they threw in a lot of free things & the internet is 100x faster!

We recently switched over, right before Irene. LOVE it!!!! Picture quality is better, internet is faster, channel guide is faster, never an issue with feed and we never lost our internet, tv or phones after the hurricane!  Oh yeah, they're cheaper!!! Almost $100 a month cheaper for us with the same package we had at Cablevision.
Only bummer is no Channel 12. Their news channel bites. I just hope it improves as more people make the switch.

Had Cablevision for 5 years- switched to Verizon on February. No matter what deal Cablevision offers, I won't ever go back. I haven't had an issue at all with Verizon customer service yet. Only thing I *sort of miss is newsday.com. Funny, though, if I need to know what's going on on Long Island, I just come here to LIF to find out!!
