FET # 1 = Fail
After an emotional couple of days, just got the call that my beta is negative I had posted earlier in the week that I got VERY faint positives two days in a row and then nothing for the past few days. Dr. Brenner said that it was either a false positive (on two different types of tests for two days?!) or that I had a chemical, but there's no way to really know since I had my beta tested today and as of today, it's negative I HATE that I had false hope this past weekend
I'm just not sure what to do now. We have four more frozen embryos, but if we just used two of the higher quality embryos, what makes me think this will work next time with embryos that aren't as good? Dr. Brenner said we could go over the quality of my embryos and then decide whether or not to use those up first before going to a fresh cycle again (I had a fresh cycle with DD 3 years ago).
This whole thing is so frustrating...

Re: FET # 1 = Fail
I'm so sorry
I conceived DS through IVF 3 years ago and had 8 embryos frozen. This time around, I did 2 FET cycles with 2 embryos each and they both failed even though they were very high quality.
My last transfer, we thawed the last 4 and 2 made it. I am now 4 months pregnant from the transfer with my lowest quality embryos. They were only 4 cells at day 3. My usually optimistic doctor was not sure if they would even make it through the thaw, but they did and it worked. So, my advice is to try the remaining embryos.

Re: FET # 1 = Fail
I had three frozen embryos left after a fresh cycle that ended in a twin miscarriage. We put back the one perfect quality embryo for first FET & it failed. 2nd & last FET we put back the remaining 2 very mediocre looking embryos & I am due in 2 weeks with a singleton. I didn't think we had any chance at all & was already scheduling my next fresh cycle at a new clinic. It's all such a crap shoot. I would definitely make an attempt with all the frozen embryos before moving on to another fresh cycle. Lots of luck

Re: FET # 1 = Fail
Thank you all for your hugs and feedback (just posted another thread related to some of your responses!). I had a pity party for myself yesterday and I'm hoping today is a better day! Just happy NOT to be using progesterone suppositories today
