Baby Shower Centerpiece

Ladies,

Any great ideas for baby shower centerpieces? The theme is pink and blue since the gender is a surprise. Open to ALL suggestions!!

Here are a few ideas:

1) diaper cakes, every other table decorated pink or blue on the cakes

2) Jars of hershey kisses w/pink & blue wrappers

3) Teddy bears with pink & blue balloons around the paws

4) pink baby doll carriages or sports themes on every other table so its boy/girl.

I bought pampers wipes in the containers, wrapped up about 20 swaddler diapers and put them around the outside, then wrapped it in lady bug (her theme) ribbon, and topped with Hello kitty dolls, desitin, teething rigns, etc. Then added a bow. They were easy to make and I got a lot of compliments on them. Plus, the mom to be got to take them home for practical use.

Wow - that is beautiful!! And so clever & practical. The shower is this Sunday tho so Im pressed for time.

Having trouble finding Pink and Blue wrapped Hershey's kisses...any ideas where I can look?

How about balloons that look like giant lollipops?


I had the balloon and table linen colors coordinate with each other using pink, green, and yellow as the major color scheme. The balloon centerpiece and candy accents (on the balloon mural and scattered on the tables) are an easy diy project. Blow up balloons to your desired size and wrap with iridescent cellophane, tie ends with ribbon and curl with scissors. Centerpiece balloons can be placed on a thin metal pipe wrapped in ribbon then stuck into a box with weights to hold it up.

We did mums for my shower. You could get all yellow ones and wrap the bases in pink or blue wrapping.

Some of the specialty candy stores will have specific colored candies. This time of year, reg stores will carry fall colored wrappers

My SIL got simple hydrangeas in vases from the flower district that were just exquisite and so fresh. They were lovely and perfect. She got blue since I was having a boy, but you can get both pink and blue. She put them in pretty glass vases, they looked so pretty.

The lollipop idea is so beautiful as well!! Super creative and appeals to the eye.
