can you recommend your dishwasher?

we have a co-op and the dishwasher that came with it has been acting funny. we often get error messages before the full cycle is done, so we need to cancel the wash. and lately, when i pull out the bottom rack, the dishwasher seems to lean forward (not sure if this is a big deal or not)

anyway, thinking about getting a new dishwasher if we cant count on this one anymore (we have no idea how old it is!). we dont plan on staying in the co-op forever, so a super expensive/fancy dishwasher is out of the question.

can you recommend a good, affordable dishwasher?

or even recommend how to go about checking/fixing the current one?

If it's leaning forward when the bottom rack is out, you definitely need to attach it better. It sounds like it's not attached to the framing around the dishwasher. It should be screwed either to the top frame, or the side frame. It's a safety issue if it's not screwed in.

Do you know what the error codes mean? If you have the manual, or look up the model number on-line, you can find out what the error is, so you would know how to address the problem.

My "new" dishwasher that I just bought was used from ReStore. It's about 15 years old, and I bought it to replace my broken 15 year old dishwasher.... I'll be buying a new one in a few months.

Try to see if you can figure out the problem on the site below first. We've fixed a few things just from reading the advice there including a dishwasher (and my DH is not handy)

The dishwasher coming forward sounds like it's not installed properly.
