Need nice hotel in/near Vero Beach, FL
Please recommend a hotel on the beach.
We have to visit an elderly relative here, and I heard some parts of the town are "shady". Looking for somewhere nice to stay, will be with the kids. Thanks!

I live near Vero.. we always ALWAYS go there for a little weekend getaway.. The Vero Hotel & Spa.
We love staying there, it's so clean, right on the beach. Trust me, you will love it!!! You can walk right out of the hotel onto a little main street with little restaurants, shops, boutiques, etc.

We are also going to Orlando/Disney so I'd rather not stay Disney the whole time.

Honestly there are no very "shady" parts of vero beach.
But the adisney Resort or any of the hotels right on the ocean are all beautiful. The Disney reaort however is a little bit of a ride from the main town of Vero Beach.
