Unpolished looking spots on dining room table?
Our table is 1.5 yrs old. We take very good care of it. We eat on it daily. We always put placemats down under everything placed on the table. They are thick. After we eat we always wipe with pledge. There are no major scratches or chips. It looks great other than now when you look at it on an angle you see these large and small spots that look dull and unpolished. Whats going on? Are we overpolishing? Is there a buildup? Is it from hot plates? But the placemats are thick and it is more in the area where we eat and not in center where we would sit the hot food dishes. Is it defective? Should I call the company? I think we have a warranty.
It is a jcp table and our livIng room tables are the same brand and finish and i dont see the same issue and we pledge them alot too.
Any ideas?

Definitely sounds like something hot was on the table and caused it. I would give them a call and see what they suggest.

I agree. Sounds like it was caused by something hot. We had a similar spot on our kitchen table, but after awhile it improved. Not sure what helped (repeated Pledge applications or what ). I would definitely give them a call and see what they say.
