Back from our 2 week Europe vaca - who do you prefer for photo books?
We thought we'd get our parents to pick a bunch of their favorite pics and make them books from Shutterfly, Snapfish, something like that.
Having never done this before, I was wondering if you've done this and if so, have tips on where to get them, things to consider.
We took 1,700 pictures.
A lot of those were dupes though, the same picture taken 7 different ways. Still, we have hundreds of keepers.

Welcome back! I usually make mine at Shutterfly, but have been meaning to try Apple's photobooks.

I love using Picaboo! They have such a flexible layout, which makes it really easy. You can just drag and drop the pictures anywhere you want on the page.

I love shutterfly. They recently (as of this may) totally redid their website so it has a lot more features and everything is completely customizable.
They publish 50% coupon codes online pretty frequently, so be on the look out for them. Especially around the holidays, they offer a lot of promotions. It might take you awhile to put the book together just the way you like it, so that's why I'm mentioning that.
I have also used Apple but I find they are not as customizeable.
I have not used the other sites.

Thanks ladies! I did look at Shutterfly the other day and like the flexible layouts, especially since I want to make it look like a scrapbook.
We kept all our tickets, business cards, flyers, maps etc from the places we went and I was thinking about photographing them and using them as a background for pages. Looks like I can do that.
I'll check out the other places and look for coupon codes. Thanks for the tips! Here's a few crappy pics taken with my phone ...

I like Shutterfly for "simple" photobooks.
Mypublisher has more "options" for backgrounds,etc...
