If someone in 20 weeks pregnant. How many months pregnant are they?

It's actually about 4.5 months. Think of it this way- pregnancy is 40 weeks or 9 months. 20 weeks is halfway, so you'd be 4.5 months.

It's 5 months, 4 weeks in a month 5x4=20. At least that's the way I do it!

The only problem with that formula is that most months (except February) have more than 4 weeks, more like 4.5 weeks, so the math doesn't work out evenly. That's why pregnancy is 9 months, which equals 40 weeks.

No, it's 9. 40 weeks=9 months, because like I was saying each month is about 4.5 weeks, so the math 40 divided by 4 = 10 isn't really accurate for that, KWIM? Pregnancy math is so annoying lol!

I always just divide by four...yes it is not a calendar month..but it is a lunar month...
So 20 / 4 = 5... You are 5 months pregnant..
I try not to be too much more technical than that..
Next week I am 28 weeks and I will consider myself 7 mo pregnant
