Need color help
I discovered that we have the beginnings of black mold growing on our bathroom ceiling and when I lifted the corners of the wallpaper the previous owners had up, it was under there, too.
I plan to rip down all of the wall paper (which I usually hate, but I actually kind of like this one...) and paint instead..after getting rid of the mold, of course.
My question is...we have white shower tiles, glass doors and the floor and countertop are a dark gray granite with some specks of white and a peachish color in it.
I don't want to paint white because it's too much white, but i'm uncertain about gray, as well. Too dark? That is why I liked the paper- it was a perfect combo...white with a silvery gray design.
Anyway- here's some pictures. I plan to buy from the BM Aura collection for bath and spa- mildew resistant.
I need help picking a color!

Re: Need color help
I actually really like the idea of a slate grey bathroom- looks very mod IMO. But I do like the wallpaper that's up now and it's a totally different feel to the room.
I always like the look of white, grey, and yellow together. Personally, I'd probably do the walls a mid-tone grey and add in pops of yellow all over the bathroom to brighten it. Something like this, but I'd use softer shades of yellow so it's not so in-your-face yellow!

Re: Need color help
I'd go with a light blue or a light gray. You could do a tan as well to warm it up.

Re: Need color help
Was going to suggest grey or a light grey/blue.

Re: Need color help
I am big on color... what about spicing it up with the peach-ish color?

Re: Need color help
I have black and white tiles in my half bath on the floor, and white wainscotting on the lower half of the wall. I did the top half a purplish tinged light gray. I think it was a SW color called Ponder.
But maybe -- if you want to stay neutral, but don't want dark gray -- you could do a light gray that has a hint of color (green, purple, blue, etc.).
