natural gas
Don't normally post...but I am a new homeowner (closed in august!) and just had a quick question...
If you have natural gas...how much is a typical bill? (for both winter, and non-winter...) Just curious - we just got our first bill, and it was for 47 days (part of aug and sept) and just didn't know what a normal amount was! Actually got the LIPA bill yesterday also, so if you have that amount also!
If it helps, this is for a split level house, 3 BR.
TIA!

Re: natural gas
the first bill you receive is based on the previous owners of the home usage...this is what i was told by national grid.
for us, our average national grid bill for winter/heat months (nov.-feb) is around $220. average for all other months is around $70.
average lipa bill for nov.-feb is around $90. average for summer/CAC months (may-sept) is around $115.
