Commuters-For fun- who gives up their seat?
I've noticed that men of all ages will offer there seat to me on the subway if I'm standing. Surprisingly teenage boys appear to be the most "respectful" of pregnancy. This morning a young gentlemen asked some one to give up their seat for me. I though it was very nice of him.
On the other hand, I find women the least likely to offer. They will put their eReader, newspaper or anything else in front of them and ignore me.

The only person who has offered me a seat so far on the PATH has been a woman.
I did find it interesting though, there was a very pregnant woman on the train with me last week and nobody offered her a seat. I was about to but, my back was killing me.

I take the PATH too 
And I've noticed that business men in suits are the least likely to give up their seats to pregnant women 
I always give up my seat and so does DH (we commute together). I'm not visibly pregnant yet but if someone gives up their seat for me, I'm remembering to say "thank you." HUGE peeve of mine when a pregnant woman doesn't say "thank you" when they are given a seat.

ITA. Women go out of their way to ignore pregnant women! I don't take the subway but on the few occasions where I was standing on the train it was always a man who offered me his seat.

I only take the train for a couple of stops and I usually get a seat but the few times that I have been offered on my regular route, it has been an even split between men and women. The few times I had to take the train for longer trips, I have had to stand but I do get myself seated and stopped being gentle and polite.

I had to go into the city for work a few weeks ago and I had to stand the entire way -- But I also didn't expect anyone to give up their seat. I paid for it later, though. My back was killing me and my feet were swollen for the rest of the day.
