MEdical Disability

Hello ladies,

I am hoping someone on here can help me.

Those who went out on disability by a dr how did that work? How much was it? Who pays for that?

I know nothing about it and need help here.

My drs want me to go out on disability however my job is not being nice at all, so I just need to know what do I do? I also can not afford to only get 100 a week for the next 4 mths.

This varies greatly from company to company.

You need to speak with your employer about what, if any type of disability policy they offer.

The 100 a week you mention must be the state disability.

Many companies offer 100% pay for a period of time and then it may go down to 70-60-50%. Sometimes it is based on length of service.

Every place is different - you should speak to your HR rep or your Manager or see if you have information on your company intranet.
