stupid ins question

i got a bill yesterday for 15 dolalrs from where i had my hsg done..

i paid them 15 dollars that day..that was my co pay..

i mean it is only 15 and i do not care bout the money but why do i have to pay again lol

I've had doctors do this to me before too. I think they forget to put it in the system that you paid your copay already, so they're probably billing you for it. After this happened to me several times (all different doctors, too), I get receipts for the copay.

Did you pay the first time with a credit card? A lot of times they take your card info but do not process it, waiting for the insurance claim to verify your copay. It drives me crazy when they do this, they do this all the time at the lab I go to.
