embarrassed to ask but what do you
take for constipation?
Is prune juice ok or is there something else?
I don't remember what I took with my first and I don't want to call the dr.
My vitamins......

try hot coffee, prune juice or eat lots of raisins. DON'T take an OTC laxative, that's a big no-no I have heard

Not sure about about actualy laxatives but you ARE allowed otc stool softeners. Feel better!!!

I don't remember having the problem so early in my pregnancy with my first. And it's so painful when I get this way since I have CS scar tissue .

I had this bad with DC 1 and I would put Metamucil in my drinks. Fiber One bars too.

I remember the constipation during first tri  I was scared of the bathroom.. I lived Raisn Bran and Multigrain Cheerios for about 2 weeks.. ugh.. I swear it was by the most worst experience ever..

Milk of Magnesia or Colace is fine. I take a Colace every day because of the iron supplements I'm on. They said I should be taking it multiple times a day, but I found when I did, things were urgent

Tons of fiber! Cereal high in fiber, all wholewheat bread, fruit and veg, and yes, prune juice.
I'm afraid to use stool softeners for fear that they would mess up my system.
