Now we're on our own...
4th IUI a bust...  Just to mess with me, my LP was 13 days.. it has never been longer than 11
So unless the trigger shot didn't work, my lp changed.. you can imagine how many visions were going through my head about how I was going to tell DH I was pg, wearing maternity clothes, picturing my LO coming into our room in the morning.. uuughhh
I threw a pity party yesterday and am much better today but agreed to stop at 4 and then try on our own for the rest of the year.
On to IVF in January.
Honestly, Im looking forward to the break but I dont want to wait until Jan... I just want to get the ball rolling already. No ins coverage until next year though...
Anyway.... moving on...

So sorry. 
I know it can be hard to wait, but I also took a several month break between my 4th IUI and this round of IVF, and it was really worth it. I started this round so nice and relaxed, and it's needed, b/c it is stressful! Wishing you all the best.

sometimes taking a break helps you mentally (whether it does physically or not as well) and helps get you relaxed and excited to start again. Hopefully this does it for you guys as well

hammered it is!! When do you start? I dont think we're going to start until Jan. If you start now, I hope we're NOT IVF buddies.... but I do hope we cross each other on the pg board!!

Thanks Daisy! Yes, our chances are supposed to be very good with IVF.. we just have to get there now.

unless we get a bfp this week we'll be in the same boat. this was our 4th IUI and if it doesn't work we're taking a break until december and then we'll do an ivf.

sorry to hear this!!! good luck!!! maybe you'll get lucky during the break!! but if not, IVF isn't all that bad, just take it one step at a time and stay positive (thats really the hardest part!)

I remember us starting IUI's around the same time. Hopefully you'll get a BFP!! When's your beta?

I'm sorry I know how hard it is to be patient during a break but try to focus on having fun with your DH and do what you need to do to get your mind off of it. January will be here before you know it! And I agree that the process of IVF is really not bad and the scariest part is probably just the big box of meds that arrives in the mail

Sorry to hear that the IUI didn't work out. I truly believe that a break is sometimes needed. We were on a break since May, and really think it has helped us go through IVF. I started to resent IF treatment, all the appts, bloodwork, dissapointments, etc. But, when we got the ok to start we went in positive, motivated and excited. IVF can be stressful, but I think it has a lot to do with the anticipation and unknown. But if you can, try to take it one day at a time and you will see it goes by so fast, and it is a lot easier that it is made out to be. Good luck!

We are in the same boat. We are ttc this month on our own, no meds except prednisone, baby asprin and lovenox. Then next month onto IVF
