I broke down and got a brazilian....
and it honestly wasn't all that bad. I mean I sweated like a dog and felt like I was going to vomit but I made it through and would actually go again!
I went to European Wax Center in Stony Brook was in and out in less than 15 minutes and for first time customers it was half price! ($21  )
They use a special wax that hardens on its own and they just pull it off without wax strips. It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be.
However.
I almost died when she asked me to turn over onto my stomach and hold my butt checks open so she could wax there  Seriously it was a good thing I was laying face down or I think I would have died of embarrassment.
Other than that I have had leg waxings that hurt more than this. I will be a repeat customer and I'll be prepared for the cheek holding next time.

its like waxing, but much much slower, and you will smell your hair burning, which somehow makes it all better for me. you can feel the follicles almost explode in your skin
But here is the thing, it also depends on the machine some laser is painless but takes more treatments. I had IPL and felt nothing, but it all sort of grew back.
Bring an ice pack, its the best thing to put on the skin before and after these kind of treatments. And don't use any creams unless they tell you too, maybe some pure aloe after the treatment.
