Telling my parents today UPDATE
Whoa - this is feeling more real.
We wanted to wait until we saw them in person. We are trying to get together with the in-laws on Monday to tell them.
My mom is going to FREAK - in a good way. So excited 
The day started a little stressful - my parents were yelling at each other. We went to the botanical gardens and with other people around, it didn't feel right. I was feeling nervous about it.
Finally back at my brother's place, DH told them. My mom cried and my dad was in disbelief. We had a death in our family recently and my mom also lost a coworker this week so she has been to 2 memorial services in the past week. Was so great to see her crying tears of joy.
I think this is just what she needed to have something positive to look forward to and help her with grieving the lost family member.
Now we have to tell the in-laws - hopefully Monday over dinner.

I was so nervous to tell my parents --- but in a good way!
My mom freaked also! Lol, she was screaming like a maniac.
My Dad just cried and cried!
I hope it goes well! Let us know how they reacted!!
