Where can I find broccolini?

I think I have a better chance of DD eating this than regular broccoli but can never find it at Stop n Shop. Is there another supermarket that carries it?

Re: Where can I find broccolini?

I always see it at Stop and Shop in Sayville.. it's usually right by the regular fresh broccoli. I've also seen it in Best Yet.

I like broccolini.. but the flavor is definitely stronger than regular broccoli so I'm not sure it would be a big hit with a child who is a little picky..

Have you tried cutting the broccoli into long strips for her? Roasting makes it more robust in flavor so maybe a quick blanch and then dressed with a little cheese would appeal to her?

Oh I didn't realize the flavor of broccolini is stronger, I thought it'd be a bit sweeter. I'll try cutting up the regular broccoli first. Thanks!

It's a different flavor to me. Not so much stronger broccoli but like.. I don't know.. maybe some other green PLUS broccoli. LOL Not sure how to explain it. It's good but I find it to be not as generic tasting as broccoli.

It's also tougher in texture.
