Does red wine do this to anyone else?
Since having DS wine has a very different effect on me. Its like 9m drinking next to nothing, reset my system.
I drink 1/2 a glass and I can't sleep till 4am.
I drink 1 glass I can't sleep all night, and next night I'm tossing and turning for a couple of hours.
Insomnia from wine?
I'm so bummed DH and I have a collection of gorgeous red wines, we used to drink with our dinner every night. It took me a while to make the connection, and now that I know this is the cause of my insomnia its depressing me.

this happens to my mom.
We've heard that while the wine can sometimes initially make you drowsy, it eventually metabolizes to sugar, which is what causes the insomnia. It makes sense for my mom, since she's a diabetic...not sure if that's what going on with you, but something to think about.

heartburn
nausea
 su cks because I love wine...

I only drink white and I am fine if I have only 1 glass, one sip more than 1 glass and I am up all night!
