WHINEEEEEEEE...
It is SO not a cheeseburger and fries kind of day - which is what I initially planned to make today. I have a sick kid and I want to make something massively delectable and I have to go to the grocery anyway.. any suggestions?

i was thinking of making a veggie lasagna with nice homemade garlic bread and fresh mozz and roasted peppers 
but now DH is late and that kind of a big dinner for me and 3 little ones

I made chicken with cream and mushrooms and risotto and buttered peas as a side dish. I drank the bottle of white that I used in the chicken andthen Rob and I drank 2 more bottles of red. I am pleased with my choice.
I also made a salad wih apples and walnuts and a nice vinaigrette. And I made crescent rolls but I jsut popped them out of a can but they were good anyway.
And for dessert the boys ate brownies that I made.

THIS was the idea that got me. I didn't want coq au vin.. but i figured I go French and potted in the white wine direction!!!
