On Wednesday morning I felt fine and went to work. Around 8:30 I started to feel sick to my stomach with pains. The pains felt like I needed to use the bathroom but I didn't. I ended up leaving work early and going to labor and delivery taking the advice of a friend and my dr. It turned out I was having contractions---I'm only 22 weeks! They did some tests and think that I have a virus bc I had a fever and all of the tests came back normal. They kept me on IV fluids until the contractions stopped. I feel a lot better today but I can't help but be worried still. Can this virus harm the baby? Has this ever happened to you? The dr. said to pay attention to the movement of the baby and let them know if I don't feel her as much. The problem is that I haven't really felt her to begin with so now I'm just sitting here thinking that even though I feel better, is she ok?
