Bleeding after an internal
has this happened to anyone??? nothing heavy, but it's there.

wow... random.... yes, it's happening to me at this very moment. i had an internal ths afternoon. i'm 36w1d. had never happened before. i called back the dr and was told it's perfectly normal.

I had an internal on Friday and Sat. morning I was spotting. It happened with my first as well!
If you are a worried call lthe doc. to put your mind at ease! It is worth th phone call! But it is def. normal!

It hasnt happened to me but I def. have heard its possible to bleed lightly after an internal

yup, happened to me after my first one and i totally freaked out (it was a big gush). Called dr and she said it was normal but to keep an eye on it. If it continued then i was supposed to go back in, but it gradually tapered off and anything that came out for the rest of the day was brown (old blood) and not anything new
the 2nd internal, i didn't bleed at all
having my 3rd this morning, hoping no more bleeding (its a pain!  )

Thanks girls!! I spoke with my dr last night and he was not worried at all. No bleeding today, thank goodness

Totally normal! Your cervix gets really sensitive and it gets irritated during an internal. My doctor always tells me I will bleed a little.
