I made bread today! So proud of myself!
I've been wanting to do this for a long time, since my kids go through a ridiculous amount of bread per week, sometimes 3 full loaves!
It was surprisingly easy, but very very messy. I used this recipe:
Traditional White Bread
I substituted butter for lard.
Here's a pic of my hot loaves, LOL!!

They ate it all in 2 days!  So I'm making more today.
My DH is so funny... he's been walking around work showing people the bread on his sandwich and going, "See this bread? My wife MADE it. From SCRATCH." 
It was so easy... I'm finding it hilarious that my family is so impressed!!!
