I want to move my stove
I put an island into my kitchen a few years ago an I want desperately to now put my stove into the island. I'll actually probably end up getting a new, larger stove. Anybody know how difficult it is to move the gas line for the stove? I have no idea what is even involved. Right now, the stove is against an interior wall. I have hardwood floors. Will the floor have to be ripped up to move the gas into the island?

Re: I want to move my stove
We have a crawl space so ours is going to be relatively easy. We're doing our kitchen in a couple of weeks and we're just going to have a plumber extend the line.

Re: I want to move my stove
If you have an unfinished space below the kitchen (basement, crawl space), it's very easy. If you have a slab, it's going to involve getting under the floor, which will probably mean cutting it, or meticulously taking it up to hopefully put back down where it was.
