Gaining weight and only 6wks!!!
I am only 6 wks and I swear from the day I found out I was PG until yesterday when I weighted myself ( 2wks) I gained 6.5 pounds!!!! I was about 40 lbs more starting out when I got PG with #1....I recently lost aboutr 35-40 pounds so I am hoping the final amount I gain this pregnancy is the most the 40 that I had lost ....do you think this 6.5 pounds is alot of water/bloating? I am not eating bad or that much more...I was also GD with #1 and I go for the 1 hour glucose tomorrow b/c they want to keep a close eye on me to catch it sooner.

It could be bloating. I gained at least 5 pounds by 8 weeks. At 28w I am up a total of about 26. =( Im hoping in the third it gets better.
Gotta stay away from the carbs!!

i gained a lot of weight by 6 weeks. I was sooo bloated and constipated TMI! probably 8 lbs! I'm really tall tho and I retain everywhere. Larger surface area

def bloat. i was very bloated in the beginning, but then it stabilized. i am not over weight limit for my term now, actually on the low end of it.

I had crazy bloat then- It went down and then my belly started to take a little more shape.

I am 8w2d & I have already gained 8lbs! None of my clothes fit! my biggest pair of jeans won't even zip halfway! Also, my normal bra size was 34C, just had to give in yesterday & buy 36D!!!!
