Bouncy seat and Rock n play?

Do I need to register for both?? The only thing Im thinking is maybe I should leave one at my moms house, since she will be watching her when I go back to work.

I will not be using the rock n play to sleep, I have a bassinet...

i have both and a swing... along with the jumpers and stuff.

as far as just the bouncer and the rock and play go... i like them both. it's just a change up.

do you NEED both? no. if I had to choose i'd get the rock and play over the bouncer seat. DD didn't like the bounder seat at first.... it took a while. like 2 months at least. she loved the rock and play immediately. ive yet to hear of a baby not liking the rock and play. plus it's SOOO portable... you can seriously bring that thing anywhere! overnight trips, to the park, bbq's etc. it's nice and light and this way the baby isn't just stuck in the carriage.

i have both and i like the variety. DS didnt tak eto th ebouncer right away but when he was about 10 weeks he started to like it. now at 12 weeks he loves it. he giggles and coos at it.

both are very portable which is great but the rock and play is good for taking to bbq's or peoples houses and its comfy for them to nap in.

like kerri said, do you need both? no. but i do use both of them almost daily. the bouncer is also nice becaus eyou can put it anywhere. we put it on the bed, on the dining room table etc.

I have both, and at first had the same thought as you, however, I use both. I have a co-sleeper and that is where DD slept the first 3 weeks, however, lately she has been having a lot of refulx at night and was sleeping horribly, so Ive been having her sleep in the RNP and shes a whole new baby! I also looove the RNP when we travel to my moms or inlaws for her to sleep in. I use the bouncy seat when I am in the kitchen, folding laundry etc, and put her up on the table or counter so she is eye level with me!
