my favorite restaurants were the screaming eagle, pinchos and texas de brazil.

my favorite activities were the depalm jeep tours and sunset cruises.

basically, it is the perfect place to drink, relax on the beach, sleep, eat, be romantic and just vacation!

my most favorite restaurant in Aruba, if its even possible, is Marandi. You dine under a palappa over the water.. watch the sunset, fish swimming under you (you're on a deck) spectacular service.. amazing! Chat Icon

Don't even tell me you're coming back on WednesdayChat Icon

Did you book any excursions yet? We didn't. Not sure what to do. DH usually just likes to lay on a beach and relax, but I like going out and seeing things. I can lay on the beach hereChat Icon

I went to Aruba in 2004 with DH, then bf.

The best thing we did was rent a car the whole time we were there. We used a map and explored on our own, the little church, the natural bridge (before it fell down!), the natural pool, the town, we loved to go off the beaten track and the island is small enough so we felt we "saw it all".

Have fun! IT is so beautiful there, but wear sunscreen bc of the trade winds it is hotter than it feels and the first frozen drink I got on the beach got tons of sand in it from the winds.

Re: Aruba here we come.... any suggestions?

DH and I were just there in August for our 10th anniversary. We are complete foodies and we LOVED these restaurants...

Flying Fishbone ~ The BEST restaurant I have ever been to on any island, anywhere! You MUST go and when you make your rez tell them you are celebrating your anniversary because you will get better seating than if you're not celebrating anything. Chat Icon

Madame Janette

Chalet Suisse

Simply Fish at the Marriott

Have the GREATEST time! Chat Icon

Madame Jeanette's
Gianni's (only Italian place to go to! everything is imported!)
Chalet Suisse
Screming Eagle
Gasparito

Those are the ones's we go to every year when we go!

We are not big into excurions, more into just realxing. But I have been to the butterfuly farm once, its a nice thig to do. And when we were there just this March, me, Dh and my mom all went skydiving. It was seriously amazing to do there and see the island that way!
