Telling people??? long...

So I will be 11 weeks on Wednsday. DH & I agreed not to tell anyone until after our 12 week appointment which is next Monday. We did tell our immediate family and immediate friends.

I've had a cold for the past couple of days & this weekend we saw his aunt, who we say like 3x a year. I totally saw her staring at me, I then saw her discreetly ask my MIL if I was prego. My MIL say why don't you ask her, so she did and I said yes. She was excited and said she saw it in my face and said she always got colds when she was pregnant. She also said she saw a little bump.

Jump ahead to yesterday, DH & I had a wedding to attend. I borrowed a dress from my girlfriend which had extra ruching and looked great on me! My girlfriends couldnt stop staring at my boobs. Apparently they've grown and I haven't noticed. Mind you I'm a small B.. So I was tagged in a pic of DH & I from the wedding and my cousin (who's older and always asks us when we're getting prego via FB jokes) commented 'you look so gorgeous anything you would like to share with us?'. I freaked and deleted her comment.

1. Do you guys know if she whill be notified that her FB comment was deleted? Not sure if i should just tell her now?

2. I'm wondering if I'm that blind and I am not seeing what these other people are seeing! Is this happening to anyone?

I'm not sure about if she will be notified of the fb deletion.

As for if you're not seeing what others are seeing, it's totally possible. I think some people may just be more attuned to those things. I've had people who have no idea that I'm pg tell me that I have a glow. I just deny it and let them think what they want. They should all understand when you do finally tell. Don't feel pressured into telling anyone until you and DH are ready to.

Don't worry about deleting the facebook comment- she will understand whenever you ARE ready to share the news with everyone

I think sometimes we preggos just have a radiance to us. Before I told any of my collegues (I was 10 weeks along), we had a photo shoot for our annual report. My photo was selected and I received SO MANY comments about how photogenic I am, how great I look, what a beautiful smile I have and even was asked if I was working out differently because I look so good. Truth be told, I had lost a few pounds from morning sickness.

Once I announced at 14 weeks, all the women said I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT YOU!

By 11 weeks your body has already changed quite a bit and people can definitely start to notice that there is something different about you even if they can't pinpoint exactly what it is.

I don't think she'll get notified of the delete.

You can just choose to let people keep wondering at this point (it's just another few days anyway) even though they may have already guessed. Confirming the PG is something you do when YOU are ready.

i dont think people get notified if their comments are deleted.

I am in the same boat! DH and I want to wait till our 12 week appt to tell everyone (we've told some people already) but people at work KEEP asking me and him.

I've been out for a few doc appts and DH has been covering for me saying Ive been sick but several people keep asking him if I'm pregnant. ugghhh why can't people just wait until we're ready to spill the beans

I'm VERY paranoid since my clothes are not fitting right and my boobs have really grown (im a full a, small b usually). I always think people are staring at my pooch thinking "Either she's pregnant or really let herself go since the wedding"

I'm pretty sure she won't get notified about deleting her comment and I would have done the same. It's annoying because you try so hard to keep it quiet but some people can just tell! A few people have been asking my friends if I'm PG and meanwhile my own father had NO idea . Just try to hang in there, you're so close to 12 weeks

With fb i don't think they send a notice for that. For now, I just pretend not to notice when I think people are onto me. I also feel like I may have upset people by turning down invites and things like that. I just figure they'll get over it once I'm out in a few weeks. I'm kind of in grin and bear it mode for now.

As for not noticing things, my mom says I'm in denial about my boobs. I kept telling her it was bc I had just gotten new bras. DH finally told me this weekend that they're definitely bigger so I guess I'll be the last to notice.

they wont be notified that they deleted their comments but that's a pretty crappy thing to write on FB

i posted a similar thing last week- apparetnly i'm "glowing" and i look pregnant. im only 7 weeks, that's ridiculous. i've looked pregnant for the past 6 months since gaining 15 lbs.

people love to comment. its a sport in my office- bump watching. dont pay them any mind and tell them when you're ready.

My mom is no help with the situation either, she thinks I'm being superstitous and doesn't understand why we are waiting to tell. She feels the need to tell me this everytime I talk to her and always points out that my cousins wife told everyone as soon as she POAS
