? Just wondering.

Have had my heart set on this dining set for the kitchen but the color is kind of like a smoky green/blue/gray and my walls in my kitchen are Appleblossom Green (light green with a punch).....and it won't go.

As much as I hate painting, I would repaint the room if I found a piece of furniture that I loved.

Re: Would you ever change your paint color to accommodate a piece of furniture?

Yes. I swapped headboards with my sister after the brand new upholstered headboard she bought didn't fit under her window. Well, when I got it into my room, I quickly realized it didn't match at all with my wall color. So even though my room was just freshly painted, we opted to repaint it. (Wasn't like my sister was going to give me my old headboard back!)

Paint is cheap and disposable. I wouldn't have a problem repainting a room for any reason, especially a large piece of furniture.

I would! I think most designers recommend choosing your furniture, area rugs, etc. BEFORE choosing paint color. I did it the reverse way for most of my rooms, but I wouldn't have a problem switching paint colors if I bought new furniture.
