Feels like everyone is leaving me
Today was the day my brother and SIL moved to NC. I probably also mentioned that my IL's moved back to Poland in the end of May. The last person to pack up and go this summer will be our Best Man who is moving to Pennsylvania as soon as he secures a job (and he has a ton of interviews in the next few weeks hopefully for him that will be soon)
I can't help but feel blue. I feel like we are having a baby and three of the most important people/couples in our lives are moving or have moved away.
I love my parents and they are amazing and generous but I am also afraid of the codependence we may develop now that my IL's and my Bro and SIL are far away and we will play more roles for each other (DH will be more of a son for my parents as well as them being more of parents to him and I will be the one to help my parents when they need it)
I know I need to breathe and not stress but I am sad and need some hugs or something uplifting.

I can understand in several ways and it is hard! hang in there and don't worry too much - there are so mnay ways to keep in touch (my best friend talks to her mom in austrailia every day over the computer with a camera so her mom can watch her daughter grow!) lots of hugs!!

I guess it is a pet peeve. Why SO many and no one says anything? If 10 people looked and didn't know what to say, I wouldn't think anything. But over 100 is kind of ridiculous. It isn't like I posted anything so intriguing to even warrant that many views. It is not like I posted some catchy title.

don't know what to say. We moved to NC, it is hard being without people, just concentrate on all the great blessings going on around you.

It's not quite the same, because it's not family, but we've had some of our closest friends move in the past year. Our best friends moved to Nebraska last September, our other friends moved to Italy in November and in June DH's close friend moved to California- and it's very weird. These are all people that we used to spend all of our free time with, and now they're not here. DH says sometimes he feels homesick, even though we're the ones who have stayed put.
