Okay, has anyone ever tried this?

So I was reading Glamour today in the salon and it said to chop up garlic and put it in your bottle of base coat to make your nails stronger.

Has anyone tried this? Doesn't it make your nails smell like garlic then?

I never have heard of it/tried it but whenever I chop up garlic, my fingers smell like it - so I'd assume it would, too with the polish. Maybe the harsh chemicals take it away though?

Anyway, I'm all for natural remedies and solutions but sometimes I don't buy into it.
