I need...the best person to call for a leaky basement.
THis place has been a heaven for supply me great recommendations, so don't let me down! 
We have NO CLUE what is going on..need the best person and someone who WON'T take advantage of us.
Who do you call anyway for this stuff? plumber?

Do you know where the water is coming from? Is it from all the rain or do you have a leaky pipe? If it's from the rain, have you checked your gutters and the pitch of the yard? Wet basements can be caused by so many things; before you call any type of professional in I would suggest trying to find the source of the water.

We really have no idea. It's in various spots and various times, no rhyme or reason.....I really want to nip it in the bud before mold or something becomes an issue.

We had ACM Waterproofing come out to our house a few months ago when our basement flooded. He was very professional and honest. Our issue was landscaping related, so we ended up not getting french drains. But if we were going to get them, we would have used this company.

thank you!! I will call them tomorrow.
Do you by any chance of in ground sprinklers? We do and my father believes this may be the issue.

No, we don't. If you need a landscaper referral, we used Munch Landscaping in West Islip. They regraded our entire backyard, and installed a drywell for the downspouts and window wells. I believe they also do sprinkler systems.
